Miguel Domingues graduated in July 2006 from the Engineering Faculty in Porto with a licentiate degree in Civil Engineering. In 2000 he made his first year of studies in the Architecture Faculty in Porto.
He joined GEG in August 2006. From 2007 to 2008, he was a structural designer on the technical Department of Bridges & Viaducts. Nowadays he is still working on the technical Department of Bridges & Viaducts as a project manager.
His experience in project designing comprehends the structural design of bridges and buildings. Nevertheless, his main experience is in project management, achieved on the latest projects.
From April to July 2007, he went to Luanda, Angola, to support the company on the several projects in progress. From April 2008 to August 2009 he was the resident engineer in Tripoli, Libya, given support to the projects under development in that country.
Concerning his professional activities, he has participated in several initiatives and actions, highlighting the most recent and relevant, namely the training for the preparation of the certification examination in PMP (Project Management Professional Certification) and his training in BIM structures, specifically in the linkage between Revit, Robot and Autocad Structural Detailing.
