Water, as an essential commodity for mankind, in consumption and hygiene, as a source of clean energy, in navigation and among other possible uses, deserves careful and thorough studies that enhance its effective use. At the same time, after use, the water needs to be treated in order to ensure a correct return to the environment. Disrespect for water causes serious environmental and social problems.
GEG acts seeking to enhance and improve water access to communities, developing the necessary infrastructures for water supply, storage, treatment, abstraction and conduction; Creating wastewater treatment and environmental restitution systems; Developing innovative interventions to regulate watercourses and flood control.
GEG’s experience in the Water sector covers the development of projects throughout their life cycle: from studies and projects on dams and reservoirs, water treatment (WTP) and wastewater plants (WWTP), conducts for water supply and sanitation system under bridges and viaducts, channelling and rectification of rivers and streams, studies of water abstraction in dams, among others.
Regarding buildings and urban planning, GEG also has extensive experience in developing infrastructures and hydraulic networks. In the field of agriculture, designs to reinforce and stabilise irrigation canals have been carried out.
Supported by a network of partners of excellence, which include universities and companies with high knowledge in the water sector, GEG develops integrated, sustainable and complete designs.
