Corporate Sustainability
Corporate sustainability is a management methodology undertaken by GEG, meaning the promotion along with its partners and clients of a long-term value creation strategy.
This corporate sustainability vision is born from GEG’s mission. GEG recognises that its projects have a significant impact on the societies and environments where they are put into action, and assumes a public compromise of developing them in a wholesome and responsible way.
Our sustainability strategy is based on three cornerstones: environment, community, business.
Our environmental compromise goes beyond the backing we offer our clients in the development of studies and products that can reduce environmental impact since it is inherently present throughout all the activities developed by our company.
We rely on science, on research and the development of knowledge, on innovation and excellence as any business sustainability engines, along with responsibility and integrity. We work together with our clients, partners, and civil society in the promotion of science and in the creation of value and excellence solutions.
GEG’s mission means to develop the best engineering solutions at the same time it promotes confidence, cooperation, and respect relationships with all the parties involved in any projects – clients, partners, associates, users. It is from this very sense of purpose that a corporate responsibility is born, linked to the communities where we are present, to our own community, and to any community where, through our projects, we intervene.

Environment
When we design our projects, sustainable engineering is inherent to every project and every process.
The projects we create and the way we do them have their impact on the society and on the environment where they set into. Thereby we are engaged in the development the best solutions together with our clients and partners – sustainable and practicable solutions that can add the highest value.
Community
GEG’s mission is the development of the best engineering solutions at the same time it promotes confidence, cooperation and respect relations with all the parties that are interested in one project – clients, partners, associates, and users. It is from this very sense of a mission that the corporative responsibility is born, a responsibility linked to the communities where we are present, to our own community, and to the communities where we intervene by means of our projects.
GEG joins in and promotes activities that are felt as an added value for the community, such as supporting education and sports in our city, and joining volunteer and solidarity programs, either in Portugal or abroad.
