GEG has accumulated significant experience in the development of environmental infrastructures and equipment, with the development of very demanding designs. Our multidisciplinary engineering and environmental competencies have been combined in the execution of these designs with the strictest safety, reliability and efficiency criteria.
This area includes the development of projects for water treatment and wastewater plants, the decontamination of soils and aquifers, the design of landfills and industrial waste, the design of sanitation systems, waste management and composting plants.
GEG also presents curriculum in the development of environmental impact studies, geological and geotechnical studies and risk maps. These tools provide the necessary support for designs that are not directly related to the environment but have a relevant environmental impact and for which an impact minimization study must be carried out.
GEG’s commitment to the environment goes beyond intervention in innovative designs to regulate watercourses and decontamination of aquifers, or the design of waste composting plants or coastal protection. The care for the environment is promoted in each of the developed designs, in each process assumed by the organisation, considering the impact they will have on the surrounding environment.
