The tunnels have different characteristics depending on the purpose for which they are intended: road, rail, high speed, subway, dams, excavation tunnels, etc. However, all of them must comply with important requirements such as safety systems, structure, the search for the reduction of the environmental and social impact in their surroundings, the definition of support structures and facilities that guarantee the correct functioning of the tunnels.
