Sustainability Specialist
GEG is looking for professionals with experience in the area of environment and sustainability (5-10 years), who are looking for new challenges, to join its team, in Porto offices.
Functions
– Manage the sustainability component in engineering projects, particularly within the scope of monitoring the certification process in various standards, such as BREEAM, LEED, MOSTEDAM, WELL, ENVISION, PEER, etc.
– Provide suggestions for sustainable solutions for various project components (passive cooling strategies, reduction of water, electricity, embodied carbon and operational carbon consumption, etc.)
– Prepare reports and validate the quality of reports prepared
– Establish communication with customers and provide clarifications in the Sustainability component
Profile
– Academic training in the field of Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture
– Experience in coordinating Sustainability projects
– Knowledge in the area of Environment will be valued
– Knowledge and/or degree of certification in standards such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM,…
– Spoken and written command of the English language (eliminatory factor)
– Excellent teamwork, communication and organization skills
