Raquel Pais graduated in Geology – Scientific and Technological Specialisation, in 1995, from the Sciences Faculty in Porto.

She joined GEG in May 1998. Nowadays is a senior Geologist in the Department of Geology & Geotechnics.

Her key qualifications are geological and geotechnical studies, geological mapping, site investigation definition and geological studies for buildings, bridges, viaducts and construction work foundations in general, geological studies and rock mass characterization for slope stabilisation and tunnels.
