Raquel Campos e Matos graduated in December 2006 from the Engineering Faculty in Porto with a licentiate degree in Civil Engineering. She joined GEG in January 2007 as a civil engineer designer. Since 2009, she has been focusing her studies and experience in project management, developing it on engineer and commercial projects. In 2011 and 2012 she held the International MBA in the Católica Porto Business.
Regarding complementary training, in March 2009, she attended the Project Management course at Porto Business School. She has participated in several conferences and workshops in this area, organised by IC Consulenten, Vienna in Austria (2009), GEG (2012), ICPMA (2012), APOGEP (2013/2014) and PMP exam preparation (2016). In March 2017, she has been formally evaluated for demonstrated experience, knowledge and performance in Project Management, and hereby bestowed the global credential “Project Management Professional (PMP)”.
Since 2010, she joined GEG’s Business Development Department. Her main activities and responsibilities comprise: Commercial promotion of the company; client’s management; new business seeking and development; portfolio development; proposals for international tenders and pre-qualifications. During 2012 and 2015, she was responsible for RDI management.
In recent years she has developed the management of engineering projects, performing activities of coordination of multidisciplinary projects, planning and cost analysis. Since 2015 she is responsible for monitoring the company’s portfolio.
