The scope of work is to provide Consulting services on Roadway Geotechnics and Pavement Design and also to perform studies for temporary support of pipe trenches and mix design of bituminous courses and concrete.

Tripoli’s Master Plan recognises the need for the refurbishment and extension of the water supply, wastewater, stormwater and road networks. This is a fundamental project for promoting the quality of life of the Libyan capital’s inhabitants, providing excellent salubrity conditions. Furthermore, being the African country with the highest number of vehicles per capita, the establishment of adequate service conditions in secondary roads will obviously benefit the population.

The project of Gargaresh, Al Sarraj and Souk Al Juma blocks comprised over 150 km of roadway and infrastructures.

Through the cooperation of Portuguese and Libyan engineers, GEG Libya participates as the Consultant of the Contractor Andrade Gutierrez, contributing with the local experience that GEG Group has gathered and its distinctive know-how.
