GEG took part of the event PM4ALL – Project Management for all – on the 8th, 9th and 10th of November 2012, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto – FEUP.

Five GEG’s young professionals attended the workshops about Emotional Intelligence applied to Project Management and had the opportunity to apply their knowledge and tools in a specific Project Management assignment – the creation of a promotional film of PM4ALL.

These young professionals were integrated into international and multidisciplinary teams. In a knowledge sharing atmosphere, they could apply and improve competencies on team management: empathy, motivation, communication, leadership; on conflict management: problem-solving, intuition, negotiation skills and assertiveness; on social responsibility and social analysis competencies; and on time and quality management, during the project creation and development.

PM4ALL is the annual event of the Young Crew Portugal – a group of students and young professionals integrated into APOGEP – Portuguese Association for Project Management and IPMA – International Project Management Association.
