The Industrial Complex of Botomona was conceived as a territorial space in which are grouped a series of industrial and business activities, operating under an innovative and sustainable model, based on eco-friendly systems in terms of renewable energy, treatment of effluents and choice of construction materials, among others.

With an area of 225 hectares, the Industrial Complex of Botomona is located in an adjacent area to the road linking Luanda to Malange, between Catete and Maria Teresa, approximately 70 km east of Luanda.

The study area presents a series of factors which could contribute to the success of this venture, such as its proximity not only to the road network but also to the railway, as well as the passage of the Kwanza River to the South.

It is proposed an internal organization of the intervention area divided into sectors, which have common characteristics (for example in sector C, it is proposed to locate small and medium industry associated with areas for storage), and its limits are perfectly adjustable and make the proposal more flexible and attractive.

The project included the execution of road networks, including all earthworks and geotechnics as well as the infrastructures beneath the whole complex (hydraulic, electrical and telecommunications). This project was developed from the conception to the on-site technical support along with the architecture.

The aforementioned proximity of this Complex to the rail network, suggested that this proposal should include a railway access/support extension to this venture, thus providing a strategic location for a container and goods platform.
