John Daniel has been with GEG since 1987 after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering. He also held several training courses and a Post-Graduate in Project Management and Evaluation at the Catholic University.

He has held several positions within GEG, being currently a managing partner of GEG Equip, a company that operates in the scope of special projects and projects in the area of MEP (Mechanical, Electricity and Plumbing). He is also the Director of the Business Development department, and as Director of this department he is responsible for designing marketing strategies and business development, assigning technical teams to projects, guaranteeing a constant maintenance of high-quality standards and also responsible for developing and maintaining profitable business relationships with both new clients as well as the old ones, and for the identification and maximum use of all the market opportunities that allow to increase the revenues and profitability of the company.

Since 2005, John has participated in GEG’s internationalisation plan, including strategic plan development, commercial activities, negotiation and contract management in several countries including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Mozambique and Jamaica.
