ABOUT
The Angolan governmental investment in Namibe, a province located in the south coast of Angola, for the Academy of Fisheries and Marine Sciences had the objective to re-establish and develop the fishing activity at a national level.
With a total construction area of about 18.000 m2, the project concerned the construction of three faculties: fishery processing and aquatic resources exploration, involving also an administrative building and a navigation simulator.
Expecting to accommodate about 1.000 students, the complex represents one of Angola’s most decisive moves to revitalize a key sector for the country’s economy.
GEG assumes relevant responsibilities in this simultaneously economical and scientific natured enterprise. The construction has begun in June 2008 and is now concluded. The construction started in June 2008 and is now concluded.
