The Al-Khoms University campus is located on the Mediterranean coast of Libya, approximately 100 km east of Tripoli.
With a capacity for 6.050 students, the university includes the Faculties of Engineering, Education, Medicine and Nursing. There are seven main buildings and other support buildings, in a total of 125.000 m2 of constructed area, occupying a total area of 84 hectares.
A regular column grid supporting solid slabs mainly forms the buildings’ structure and reinforced concrete stairs and lift cores assure the bracing.
