Pier of Inhambane
An approach trestle and a floating pontoon in one of the extreme sides generically compose the pier of Inhambane, providing berth to passenger vessels.
The building of the new ferry terminal in Inhambane is characterised by a plain covering supported by concrete beams and concrete columns. The covered passage in Inhambane pier consists of a double steel frame braced on top by a steel profile.
Pier of Maxixe
The pier of Maxixe is generically composed by an approach trestle and a floating pontoon in one of the extreme sides, providing berth to passenger vessels.
The link bridge is composed by a metallic grid deck supported by cross steel beams spaced of 1,55 m connected on both sides in one steel truss with 21,55 m span and 1,50 m height. The new deck consists in a 0,35 m thickness concrete slab. It is considered as the resistant structure system, the concrete slabs, beams and columns.
